Project Idea #5

I was recently watching this documentary about women who have suffered severe health problems after pregnancy at an extremely young age.  I would like to show how these girls try to come out of poverty after their husbands have abandoned them because of their health conditions. 

Project Idea #4

Believing in humanity can be difficult. I would like to create a small video of people performing small tasks for others. The recipients don’t realize it is happening and the helpers are not doing it for fame, just simple things for others.

Project Idea #3

I have to admit I indulge in almost all the real housewives shows. I think it would be funny to do the real housewives of Lancaster, PA. It would be a highly scripted show, like all the housewives are, so it could be dramatized. There are so many shows about the Amish community right now that it would be fun to do a parody of the housewives with Amish women as the subjects.

Project Idea #2

Women need to learn to love themselves. Media affects our views on beauty as a culture. I would like to show a woman with an eating disorder and her constant struggle to block out the images and pressure of perfection and focus on her own deep rooted insecurity.

Project Idea #1

My grandfather suffered from dementia, so I know personally how hard it can be to watch a loved one lose them. I would like to do a piece on a person before and after they were put under constant care. It will start with the person in the present with a blank, confused look, and slowly flicker back to their past, full of happy times.
